Adobe France has its own YouTube channel, featuring artist interviews, software tips and news lists.
As part of one of their playlists, they wanted a different and “fresh” look, in line with the new Adobe XD features mentioned in the playlist, fresh ideas.
After brainstorming the ideas they wanted to convey, a summertime vibe and beachside cocktails stood out.
What could be cooler than a granite in 40° shade?
After suggesting several possible storyboards, they settled on one with great enthusiasm. The fruit, summer colors, original music and sound design did the rest.
I illustrated the various storyboards in a clean, fresh style, then animated them. Finally, I added sound design to create an atmosphere of calm and serenity. The result is the short film you can see below.
Alexandre is precise and meticulous in execution and creative in conception, which makes him extremely interesting for animation projects. A force to be reckoned with from a visual point of view, I regularly benefit from his inspired AND inspiring eye.
